IMDb says this was remade as a TV series [1]: what's going on? --Phil | Talk 14:26, Oct 28, 2004 (UTC)

There was a TV series called Rasen, but it was more of a sequel to the Ring: Final Chapter series than a remake of the novel/movie. Just you wait until I finish my overall article on the Ringu cycle; all will be made clear. - Nat Krause(Talk!) 19:31, 5 April 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Article focus[edit]

This article should decide if it wants to be about the novel or the movie or both. There also exists Rasen (novel) at present. - Nat Krause(Talk!) 19:31, 5 April 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I fixed it. It appears that somebody tried to split the Rasen article into 2 articles- one about the book, and one about the movie. But they seem to have quit half way through, so both articles ended up having information about both the movie, and the book. -MentosC 19:47, 7 August 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Thanks. I was thinking that, since the movie was so unpopular, and therefore obscure, this article (about the movie) should probably move to Rasen (film), leaving Rasen to be either a disambiguation page or the new location of the article on the book.—Nat Krause(Talk!) 01:52, 8 August 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Confusion about Ryuji[edit]

The article mentions things like "Ryuji Takayama's wife" and "Ryuji Takayama's family," but Ryuji was a single man in all the installments, and his family was never shown. Anyone care to elaborate?

Reiko Asakawa and Yoichi Asakawa are his ex-wife (possibly not yet legally divorced) and son respectively. This is made very clear in all installments. SoulSlayer (talk) 04:18, 6 July 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Poster or DVD/VHS cover?[edit]
